Freemasonry is the world's oldest fraternal order. Its membership comprises men from all walks of life.
Members are formed into small local groups called Lodges. There are thousands of Masonic Lodges, meeting in most countries of the world.
Lodge members usually meet once per month to conduct the Masonic ceremonies which distinguish Freemasonry from other organisations. Charitable activities and social events for Freemasons and their partners are held regularly.
